Mosaic for Beginners

Mosaic Workshop

Our one day workshop encourages participants to explore the design principles and application techniques used in mosaic. Participants will create a mosaic of choice using supplied materials and original subject matter. The one day workshop will cover contour, form, colour & design. Participants will learn the four basic components of mosaics, backing structure, tiles, glue & grouting.A full day is required so pieces can be completed & taken home at the end of the session for friends & family to admire. No experience necessary, beginners welcomed.

Cost: $160.00 for full day workshop & includes all materials

Participants will need to bring their own lunch or purchase food off site. A one hour lunch break is scheduled for around 12.30pm.

Bookings essential.

Payment is required one week prior to workshop commencement. Payment will secure your place. Please dress appropriately, in old clothes as materials can be messy, aprons provided. Please ensure you dress warmly.

All materials supplied & included in workshop price

No thongs or open shoes permitted in studio

Tutor

Cam Gold has been an artist & educator for over 12 years. Her experience with mosaic is vast, spanning small commission work to large scale installments. Cam also works as an Art Therapist & creates a relaxed & nurturing environment, where participants are encouraged to explore & discover the elements of their creative side.
